Safari Loop Tour

Kenya’s classics, done properly
Our signature loop through central Kenya, refined and improved after our first expedition. This tour starts and ends at Docs Ecocamp in Kitengela and brings together Kenya’s most iconic landscapes in one flowing route. View the 2025 edition.
Highlights: Great Rift Valley descents, Mount Kilimanjaro views, Hell’s Gate National Park, Lake Naivasha, private conservancies and riding sections used in the World Rally Championship Safari Rally
Duration: 8 nights total, including arrival day, bike familiarisation, safety briefing and one lighter or rest day
Riding: 5 riding days in a loop format

Tour 2:
Nairobi to Kilimanjaro to the Coast
20 – 28th June 2026

From mountains to the Indian Ocean
A true point-to-point expedition that finishes at the Kenyan coast. This tour takes you south from Nairobi along the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, past Tsavo National Park, through the Taita Hills and vast sisal plantations, along the Tanzanian border, then through the green Shimba Hills and ending at the Indian Ocean.
This ride is about long horizons, big landscapes and the feeling of covering real ground. You finish the journey with a few well-earned days at the coast.
Highlights: Mount Kilimanjaro views, Tsavo region, historic safari routes, and a coastal finish at the Indian Ocean
Duration: 8 nights total, including arrival day, bike familiarisation, safety briefing and one lighter or rest day

These are guided motorbike expeditions, not rushed package tours. You ride your own Kibo 250cc bike while we take care of the rest. Routes, safety, luggage transport, fuel, accommodation, and food. All you need to do is ride, explore, and enjoy the journey.
*UPGRADES AND OPTIONS
All prices are based on riding a Kibo 250cc motorbike and sharing a twin room.
Optional upgrades are available for an additional fee:
• Upgrade to a Voge 300cc motorbike
• Private room instead of shared accommodation

WHAT TO EXPECT ON OUR TOURS
Every Safari MotoXpedition follows the same philosophy, even though each route is different.
• Guided riding through remote and scenic parts of Kenya
• Daily riding distances of around 150 to 250 km
• A mix of dirt roads, gravel, murram, savannah tracks, and quiet tarmac
• Wildlife sightings along the way, including giraffe, zebra, antelope, and hopefully more
• A support vehicle carrying luggage, tools, and backup
• Carefully selected lodges and camps with good food and hot showers
• Small groups and a strong focus on atmosphere and shared experience
Our base for all tours is Doc’s Eco Camp in Kitengela, just outside Nairobi. It is our HQ, workshop, and home away from home. Expect great food, cold drinks, epic sunsets, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe from the moment you arrive.
